I washed this yesterday and hung it outside, came out real nice for something made in the mid 1800's.

Love the quilt. I have my grandmother's old aprons. Been trying to fiqure out a way to display them.

Hi Nancy...I always love your BLOG! I have one but rarely get on there to make changes.

The Quilt is Beautiful!!! And I would venture to say that OLDER Quilts are probably
stitched so well that they are easier care than newer ones. The Color in that quilt
is stunning. And your back yard looked so inviting. Would love to just sit there and
read with a nice glass of sweet tea. Thanks for sharing friend!

Great photo! I think it is neat how you shot it from a distance. The trees around it make it look so homey. Did you wash it on the gentle cycle? So glad it washed up well! Probably worth thousands of dollars, but priceless to you!
