CJ, big time gloves...
gonna use a piece of plywood for the base... trace my design onto the plywood and then hammer in nails every in or two to wrap & bend the barb wire around...

Very nice, handle with care! Windy Pines, Michele, has done some interesting barbwire baskets and things too. She put wood fire starting kits in the baskets one year for Christmas. Everyone who got one really liked them!
