Today for the first time in my life I put in an entry for our county fair. Its been a goal of mine for a few years now and finally I did it! I put in my homegrown strawberry jam, some produce from my garden and a nightgown I sewed for my daughter this year. I'm feeling pretty excited! Tomorrow I'll enter one of my Buff Orpington pullets from this year.

I just went to the local Faire over here and I loved the awards building...home made foods, crafts, photos...etc..
I posted a couple of pics here somewhere....

Annika - I entered into the Palouse Empire Fair since I live in Whitman co. Let me know if you are going to come over - maybe we could meet up. My two youngest kids are going to do fitting and showing of their chickens on Friday.
