We are trying to find out where to get the small windows that can be installed in our coop. We are putting in vents but want to have some sunshine coming in for our girls. Anyone know where to get them? Thanks!

Denise, When we did our chicken coop we used what were called basement windows ... we ordered them at Lowes.
Here is the photo of the coop. Also sometimes you can use the top and bottom of an OLD window as two separate fixed windows ... We have also hinged them to be able to open in with a screen on the outside.

Thanks Teri! I will show this to my installer (aka dh) Appreciate it. He bought some that are roll out but they have to be installed with the length up and down instead of across as intended and I don't really like the look of it that way. Of course, I know it is a coop but he took all the trouble to make it look nice otherwise so I hate to have windows we don't really want. We wanted to put two small windows in the front and one in the back but all normal windows are too wide.

Glad to hear that about the price Teri! I don't know what is good and what is not for these things. Tons cheaper than the other ones. I'll have to post a picture of the coop when it is finished.
