Read this closely and picture it.

The Silken Tent

She is as in a field a silken tent
At midday when a sunny summer breeze
Has dried the dew and all its ropes relent,
So that in guys it gently sways at ease,
And its supporting central cedar pole,
That is its pinnacle to heavenward
And signifies the sureness of the soul,
Seems to owe naught to any single cord,
But strictly held by none, is loosely bound
By countless silken ties of love and thought
And only by one's going slightly taut
In the capriciousness of summer air
Is of the slightest bondage made aware.

Robert Frost

I have loved this poem since college. Now when I read it, I picture the Bed and Breakfast at MJF and somehow think of it in the same essence.

O, cease to heed the glamour that blinds your foolish eyes,
Look upward to the glitter of stars in God's clear skies.

You are so right about the visual of a tent outdoors JP. Robert Frost is one of my favorites also. We read a lot of his poetry as young children but now I don't think the kids study poetry like they should. They are missing out on so much beauty in those words.

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." Rumi, 13th century.
