Betty,
I got a bridge postcard - I think I crossed it about 15 years ago - I remember it as being beautiful but cold. Thank-you for reawakening those fun vacation memories. Gardens have been wonderful this summer in Ohio - flowers too.

Jessie,
How sweet of you to send me the angel pattern. I will be using it in the near future! What a blessing. Many thanks my friend.

Betty,
Thank you for the post card. You sure were busy blessing all of us!

I am so glad they both arrived safely. :)

CJ~Thank you for the goodies! My daughter claimed the butterfly tote bag right away. I will most definitely be using the candy corn fabric. It is so pretty! I liked the album and notebook too! I will surely put them to good use and your letter was indeed most welcomed too! Thank you for thinking of me!! :D
hugs

Came home to find the sweetest note from Kelly (lovinRchickens)! Kelly, I wish I were putting in a garden right now! Unfortunately, our growing season pretty much ends here in IA around September/October unless you have a greenhouse. Oh, well...I love the card you sent, its too cute! What a coincidence that I have a cherry tree in my yard. Love it! I would send you some jam or something, but my family has already eaten everything cherry related that we put up this year. Lol! Thanks again for the wonderful card!

So glad you liked it. You are so blessed to have a cherry tree. I want one, I can only imagine how hard it must be to keep anything cherry from being eaten immediately.

Betty Metz - thank you so much for your wonderful postcard today :) I don't have a garden this year - we are in the middle of moving across the country, so I'm a little like you in the no garden this year :) I did so enjoy getting something fun today in the mail though! Thanks again for the sweet note :) Joyce

Becky,
Thank you for the card! It lifted my stressful day! Yes school starts next week for us. I have to meet the kiddos and parents tonight at Meet the Teacher Night. It is a very pretty picture of the field! It reminds me of living on the farm! Thank you very much!

Joyce,

What a surprise to go to the mailbox today and find a RAOK package from Canada. How thoughtful of you Joyce. Everything is wonderful. I received an Apple Pie Candle, some Apple, Cinnamon, Chamomile Tea, and a Crossword Puzzle Book. My husband is already encouraging me to do the crossword puzzles. The Tea looks yummy.
Thank You so much for making my day brighter.

Just want to give a thank you to Becky! I received a beautiful piece to embroider. It is actually a vanity set and it has petunias. It was such a happy surprise to see that package waiting for me when I got home. The material is beautiful Becky, thank you so much for thinking of me.

Stephanie,
I just put some water on to boil when my husband walked in with the mail. I couldn't believe my luck when I opened your card and there was a tea bag!!!! Thank you so much! Not only was it yummy, but it's such a beautiful color. No wonder it's your favorite! Thanks for sharing and making my day TEA-lightful :)

Kelly,
Thank you for the tomato seeds with the card! I will have to see when it's about planting time here as I really have no idea about gardening! But I am excited to learn!

I have to make some raised boxes, can't plant anything that grows underground. So that is on my winter project list. :)

Kelly, The boyfriend owns a salvage yard and it's where we live too. So with all the metal and other liquids in the ground it's not safe to eat! But I do look forward to trying my hand at gardening!

Betty-growing food in containers is so much fun! I have lots of my veggies in those 5 gallon buckets you can get from Home Depot. I hit yard sales for other ideas too. You'd be amazed at how easy it is to find old garbage cans & buckets you can clean out & plant in.

Hugs and Squishies!!

Betty, yes you are right on not being able to grow in that. Kathy's idea is perfect, plants grow great in plastic totes and such.
