Earlier this morning I was sitting at my computer thinking of a project that my swap partner may like and it hit me, I have no clue what she likes, how she lives or where, what she does... things like that. I posted this as a topic and I had some great other ideas and some suggestions too... sometimes, my fading memory keeps me from checking other posts that my partners have made to get ideas and I also forget to ask!! So I had a suggestion to start this... Just a little something about yourself, who you are, what you like and where you live or how you live... you don't have to go into great detail if you don't wish to, just have fun and let us know a little about yourself!

Im an Ohio State Fan!! I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and I was transplanted in the "Low Country" of South Carolina. It's very rural here where I live. My husband and I own a chicken farm, between the 2 of us, we have 4 kids. I have 2 girls 18 & 15 and he has 2 sons, 23 & 21. We share a 1 year old grandson (my oldest daughter's son) I love all things handmade!! My favorite colors are all shades of blues and greens. I collect antiques & Nurse/firemen things, I like all kinds of strange cute stuff. My kids call me an all around wierdo! lol I like everything! Im a CMA (certified Medical Assistant)& a volunteer firefighter with my husband :)

Hi all! A little about me... born and raised in Maryland, married my military hubby and we are stationed in SC. Thus far we have been blessed with 6 children that I home school... My daughters are 10 (well she will be the end of the month), 4, and 6 weeks (born the end of June). My sons are 7, 6, and 2. We dream of having a small farm in Wyoming when my hubby retires. I love all crafty stuff that involves any type of "sewing" - be it cross stitch, quilting, clothing, plastic canvas, crochet, etc, and most other crafts, gardening, and canning. The only thing I really collect is Willow Tree Figurines. My life, for the most part, revolves around my children and schooling them, while maintaining my sanity while my hubby is gone :)

HI! I'm a true blue Kentucky girl! I'm a Kentucky Wildcat fan! I've been married for 9 years this past March but been with my hubs for about 12 years come September. We have four children together...one daughter, 11 and three boys, 10, 6, 4 and I homeschool them. We live out in the country but the ground is mostly clay and doesn't work real well for gardening. So I garden my veggies at my parents' house. I love to sew, cross-stitch, knit with my round looms, can (I've been doing a lot of that lately), garden, camp, and just create! I love the color green, browns, and pink. I'm a Mary Kay consultant (I love collecting things I find of Mary Kay ...even pink caddies :). I like working with lace, blue jean, country fabric. I like the outdoors, deer hunting with the hubs...I'm just an all around country, redneck, farm girl.

Howdy! I am a Wyoming girl, though I was born in neighboring Utah. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are working on 34 years of marriage. We have two children, one son(22) and one daughter(24). DH is the director for a Youth Camp Facility and I am the office manager for a natural gas production facility. Our DS works in North Dakota as a hot shot driver and our DD is attending college to become a nurse. DH's family has a small ranch that was homesteaded in 1889. We live about 30 minutes from the ranch, but spend alot of time there. We run red Angus cattle and sheep. We have two dogs, Baby (lab) and Shelbee (chihuahua) and one very fat cat named Missy. I am all about country. We live in a log cabin, I garden, sew, scrap-book, paper craft, can, and I refuse to use the dryer when there is a prefectly good breeze blowing. I collect sugar and creamer sets and Boyd's Folkstone Angels.

Thanks for setting this up Pennie!

Here is some info about me. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and currently live in Longmont Colorado. My husband, Chris, and I are working on fixing up our first home. We have been together about 11 years and married 5. We have no children (so far) but have two cats - an ocicat named Charmer and a cream tabby named Izze and a doggy "daughter" named Bonita who is a smooth coat border collie/jack russel mix. She is almost two and I just adore her!

My hobbies include crochet, sewing, paper crafting, photography, gardening, baking, and refinishing/repurposing furniture.

I collect: all things owl related, snowflakes, vintage salt and pepper shakers, and have recently gotten into collecting vintage glass bottles. I like most anything vintage or "weathered"! I dream of going to/living in Seattle or near the ocean, so anything related to Seattle or ocean gets me excited too!

I work full time as a bookkeeper at a large tax firm (Jan - April get pretty hectic for me).

Howdy everyone! I was born in Michigan but live in Ohio. I've been married to my husband, Nathan, for 11 years. We don't have any children yet. We've been milking cows for 10 years. The cows and barn cats are my pets. They all have names and a special place in my heart. When I'm not farming I love to take too many pictures, read too many books, and drink too much tea (according to my husband). I also garden, can, sew, scrapbook, make cards, and do all kinds of crafty things. I love to get homemade gifts of any kind, but knitted and crocheted items are special because those are 2 things I can not seem to get the hang of!
As far as collections - I collect cow things or things related to dairy farming. My newest collection is aprons. I wear them all the time and seem to want every one I see. I also collect Santa hats and boots for Christmas. My favorite color is purple.
