Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer, and my hubby and I just moved into our very first house, which is on half an acre... not much, but certainly big enough for some intensive gardening and poultry, and perhaps a dairy goat or two... We raise Bengal cats, and seem to always have spotted little kittens underfoot; makes life interesting, so to speak. Ever since we started our house hunt last January, I've been searching for somewhere I could go to ask advice from people with real experience in the things we're about to embark on... so glad to have finally found this site! Just from reading so far, you ladies are a godsend! |

Welcome Jennifer, you'll be glad you found this forum. All advice you get here is good and heartfelt.
Life may not be the party we hoped for...but as long as we are here we might as well dance! |

Hi Jennifer, welcome to the group. I'm in Dallas right now, but will be moving to Hillsboro sometime soon.
Maybe we can meet sometime this fall - there's a few of us N. Texas gals now... This would be a great chance, Frannie, for you to get some members in your group, and for me to meet some of you gals before I move down to Hillsboro...
