Yesterday I taught my 18 year old cousin how to sew. And guess what - she said "this is fun!"
It was a pretty awesome feeling, I have to admit.
Is teaching someone to sew a criteria for any merit badges? I've looked trough them but didn't see it listed. Maybe I missed it? If it isn't, it most definitely should be! Pass the knowledge along!!

That is so wonderful to pass on the skill- and more special that she enjoyed the time you spent together!!

You have opened her life up to endless possibilities!!! You Go Girl!!!!
The road to success is not straight. There is a curb called Failure, a loop called Confusion; speed bumps called Friends; red lights called Enemies;caution lights called Family. You will have flats called jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination; an engine called Perseverance; insurance called Faith, and a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success!! |
