Does anyone grow horehound? Does it spread quickly? I'm considering adding it to my herb garden, but have not found the seeds in a small amount yet.

Hi Kristina,
Annie here. I enjoy the website http://www.victoryseeds.com as they sell many kinds of seeds that are rare, open-pollinated and heirloom garden seeds. I planted their heirloom thyme and it is so fragrant and wonderful. I see on the site that they sell packets of horehound seeds. I have never planted it. I like buying my seeds from them because they are involved in seed preservation work and historical horticulture. They may have the holy basil also, but I didn't look. They are located in Molalla, Oregon.
Have fun! Annie

Thanks Annie. From what I read, horehound is from the mint family, so I plan to start it in a pot. I made the mistake of planting lemon balm in my herb garden (spreads like crazy and has roots like cement).
