It's amazing how much a person can get done without a television. Ha ha ha!

In preparation for the Farmer's Market, I decided to try something new - stitched stationary:

I plan to post about it on my "pioneer woman at heart" blogspot soon. These cards are really a lot of fun too.

Kristina this is darling! I've made cards sewn on my sewing machine just doing basic decorative stitches but never anything like you've done here. I've also stitched envelopes on my sewing machine. Did you do all of this by hand or machine? Fantastic job!

I stitched it all by hand. I'll be sharing on how to do it, later on my blog. Right now I have to scoot - Farmer's Market is today.

That is so cute! I've seen cards stitched with a sewing machine at a craft fair, but the embroidery really adds a classy hand-made touch.

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Denise,
So far, the chicken one is my favorite too. I plan to embroider a rooster too.

Unfortunately, at the last market day, the produce stand brought along another helper, who set up handmade cards right next to me. They sold many of their cards, I did not.

I may need a different display for them, but we are not in a great area either. Most folks have very little to spend when the visit, and most go straight for produce.
