Wow...7 pages. It tells you something about our need to be connected doesn't it? I'd like to join. Letter writing has become a dying art with our technological devices available to us.
I am recently retired. I took a week off and then began babysitting for my 3rd granddaughter Sloan. That was 3 years ago. I love animals, gardening, reading, sewing, traveling (though this is difficult as a primary babysitter), camping, horses, goats (oh yeah, I did say animals didn't I?), laughing till I embarrass myself, making snow angels, watching snowfall at night (I put lights in the woods so I can see the snow drift gently down) and above all....DREAMING! I have dreamed of buying a place out west in the mountains forever. I even took a job out west but found the realization of the dream was not worth loosing the growing up years of my granddaughters. Family is very important to me. God, family, country...

Hi Michelle :) All you have to do is post a little about yourself on here and then e-mail me your mailing address. I add you name and address, along with the little blurb you wrote about yourself, on the list and then e-mail everyone who has signed up to have penpals the list. You can then choose to write as many or as few people as you want. So glad to have you join us :)

As I posted before I would love to have a pen pal. I like to cook, read, garden, do genealogy, craft and sew. I am retired from an elementary school after thirty one years.
Mostly secretary work. It is hard to describe me without including my husband of fifty-two years. We were high school sweethearts. We were born on the same day and same year. He is five hours older than me. We were born about twenty one miles apart. I guess a lifetime of raising cattle on the family ranch that was purchased by my husband's grandfather in 1905 has helped us keep quite active.
I could tell more about me. I guess I need to wait to tell my penpal. I like to include pictures in my letters to show what is going on in my life.
One of the first things I will write about is how our eighteen year old bordie collie made it into the Texas Animal Hall of Fame.

I am a Christian SAHM as well as a homeschooling mom. I have five children, four of which have flown the nest! My youngest, 14, keeps me on my toes with school and extra curricular activities. My husband and I will celebrate 35 years together. He is a hardworker and great provider for our family. I enjoy traveling and camping (I glamp in my rv, lol!). I also spend time crafting: sewing, scrapbooking-digital and paper using my Pazzels, card making, and painting. I love baking and cooking for my family. I have been the Family Historian for over 25 years and love genealogy research. I look forward to partnering with someone in this PenPal 'swap'!
