Hi ladies. I'm Beth from Pensacola, Fl. My husband, and I purchased my grandparents house and property from my parents about 11 years ago. We renovated the old house and live there with our two border collies and two golden retrievers. Our 6 acres adjoins my parents' property - all of which was at one time my grandparents' pecan orchard. We raise a few chickens and when we have a good year and the squirrels don't clean us out, we harvest pecans. We are also amateur beekeepers. I work full time not far from home and like to train and compete with my dogs in agility, flyball and other fun sports. I also teach classes in the same.

I picked up a MJF magazine a couple of months ago at our local natural foods co-op and fell in love with it.

I dream of one day owning my own "glamper" and hope to meet up with more Farmgirls!

Beth

Welcome to MJ's Beth! Very nice to meet you and it sounds like you have a very full and active life. Now you have me thinking about pecans and honey. Yummmmmmmy. I'm an animal lover too and have one dog, Dickens, a shorkie and 2 cats. Like you I dream of one day being able to go glamping :) It's so nice to have you join us. Have fun!
