My youngest son plays in the Cal Ripken All-Stars baseball league in our area. At 9 years, he is the starting pitcher, plays 3rd and 1st base. Our team just won the Regional Championship in Meridian, Idaho last weekend beating teams from Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. We were undefeated in all 4 games! Our next stop is to play in the USSSA World Series in Chino Hills, California the first week of August. We will play 12-15 games during this week-long tournament and play teams from Japan, Canada, and all-over the United States. These boys have worked hard and have a special chemistry you don't often see in teams, especially at this age. The parents of this team are wonderful and we have all become close friends throughout this summer!
