Hi! I am new and just moved to Jax Fl from Oklahoma City. We were hit in the tornados a couple of months ago and decided to make a big move to Florida. What a huge change for a Farmgirl like me! I love here just would like to make some friends. A little about me: grew up on a farm in IN and then started to train horses professionaly when I graduated from collage. I now have my own purse business and love to garden, can, and do everyday country gal things. I can't wait to meet you all and see what you creative lady's do.

Thank you!! I could use a big hug:) We just moved to Florida a month ago and we are staying with a friend until we find a house. Lets just say its not as fun as once thought. Lol Our home was hit in the tornados in the Oklahoma City/Moore area a couple of months ago. We lost the roof and our house flooded. So we were going to move in 6 months anyway, why not a little early? That lands me here in Jax Fl. Lol I am living with 3 men and could use a little girl talk!

Welcome! I live by in Fernandina Beach off Amelia Island, about 20 or 30 minutes from Jacksonville. I have lived here about 5 years and love, love it. I am a retired school teacher. I moved here from So. CA near Disneyland in Orange County. I know you will love this site. The ladies here are just the best.

Welcome to Farmgirls! My sister lives in Titusville, FL. She loves it there. Glad that you could land in such a beautiful place. I live with two guys and we girls do need each other sometimes. Prepare to be inspired here!

Hello and welcome to NE Florida! It can be a culture shock, but it's a nice place to live. Sounds like you have some great farmgirl skills :)

Hello Angela! I live over in Gainesville, Florida about 2 hours from Jax. Welcome to the Farmgirl Connection! I just retired in July and have been a member of this community about 3 years. There is another new member to the forum that lives up towards Jax so maybe we can all get together one Saturday and visit?! It would be fun to get everyone together and share.

Hi Angela and welcome to MJF's. So thankful you and your family are okay after the horrific twisters and I sure can understand what a big change moving would be for you. Just hoping you don't have any hurricanes in Florida to really upset your wagon! It sounds like you've found the perfect site for creative as so many of the women here are uber-talented!
