1 bar Castile soap or other washing soap.
2 cups borax
2 cups washing soda
Essential oil lemon, tea tree or any other of your choice. A few drops to your liking
Mix and done. Use a 1/4 cup or less per load. All so easy and works great. Hope this helps

Lori, I use the same recipe but the instructions I found said only use 1 tablespoon for a regular load and 2 tablespoons for an extra large or soiled load. So far that amount of detergent has been working great.

Kelly do you add water to your mixture or leave it dry? I have a recipe with same products but Fels Naptha soap.

Thanks
Rae

I just made my second batch of that recipe. It lasted about six months of washing at my house. Couldn't love it more!! I use Ivory soap - no allergy problems for one member of the family and I love the smell!
