I have Lyme, celiac, and a very sensitive and painful bladder. Today I saw a clip on You Tube about a guy with IC that found out his pain is from Lyme. I think that could be a true story. I have extreme pain with some of the ABXs prescribed for my Lyme. There is a nurse practitioner inWashington DC that had IC and now is cured. Just thought I would mention this in case there is someone out there that have IC and not getting better. You may want to get an IGenex blood test and go to a Lyme Literate doctor to rule out Lyme.
I don't have the link but if you type in lyme and interstitial cystitis you should be able to see a clip with a guy talking about it. Ruth Kriz ks the nurse practitioner he went to
I've had Lyme for 8 years and go up and down with different issues. I am loosing weight again and am down to 100 pounds. I am getting blood work for thyroid disease, allergies and kidney disease.
I'm not in any terrible pain just my normal from all the gas caused by my high fiber diet. I am going to an herbalist next month and she claims she can help me.
Right now she has me eating boiled green seed vegetables in between meals and the broth along with it.
I'm at least having regular bowels now!!! That was a separate issue!
Marjean, sorry to hear that you struggle with Lyme too. I started having big issues about 1 1/2 years ago when I went into menopause. I was losing weight like crazy and feeling like death warmed over about a year ago. I now have gained about 30 lbs back. I think it was doing a parasite treatment and Nystatin. The recovery was gradual. I am now fighting with issues again I have IC and celiac to along with this.. I would be interested in knowing more about what made your bowels move. Mine stopped moving at all after kidney stone surgeries.
