We are finally back. Phew! It was so hot today, and Hubby wanted to check the camper air conditioner/heater/fridge, and tear it down and back up again. Oh, so hot.
We brought'er home. 
It's a 1999 Coachmen pop-up with slide out (sleeps 8). We can cook on the gas stove inside or out, has a toilet, outside shower, and in pretty decent shape. There are a few things I have to clean up, and a sewing job (the dealer guys ripped the vinyl when they were sliding the bed in on one side - hmpf), but in good shape.
We plan to recharge the air conditioner, maybe recover the cushions, and maybe replace the curtains. We got it lower than the blue book price, so Hubby was pretty happy. Plus the knocked off a little for us having to repair the rip.
So, if you have experience with sewing vinyl, what type of thread do I buy? The thread looks thicker.
We need a cover for the spare tire (I have some ideas on that too).
The kids are super excited and can't wait to pop it up and clean it out. We have thunderstorms in the forecast, so I am not putting it up tonight.
I'll try to update with photos after we get it up.

Oh Kristi,
How exciting! I am so happy for you and your family! I think this will be a very positive thing for all of you, and will afford you opportunities to spend lots of quality time together as a family.
Can't wait to see pictures. Have fun with it....I know you are going to really cherish your new glamper!
