It's hotter than blazes and the yard needs work, but I've been bitten by the cleaning bug. The other night it was my bedroom, now I just finished the kitchen. Next is the bathroom. Having two birds and a dog who is in the house at times makes for an untidy home. Jaxon isn't as "domesticated" as Boxer was, so he spends a lot of time outside. He's very rambunctious and would tear the house apart if I let him. What is it about the middle of July that makes me want to clean? I guess the heat is getting to me.

Boy, the heat does just the opposite for me . . . sucks the energy and pizzazz right out of me. It's been so unseasonably hot and dry and I'm finding it difficult to focus and stay motivated. Makes me feel ill and very grumpy!
But, I admire you . . you go girl!

CJ I am with you, so hot and reaching 100 plus lately with humidity going through the roof. Cindy wish I had your energy, what a great job it sounds like your doing.

This pass July we did a stay-cation and I too got the cleaning and re-organizing bug. I blame it on the TV show NEAT. My bath room has some nice new wire basket in the drawers that I just love. I put all my hair clip, barrettes & bobby pins.

I have to say, it's STILL too hot to get inspired to really clean! It has cooled off a tad bit and we have gotten rain . . but it's still difficult to stay focused and motivated . . . just trying to breathe!

I cannot clean when it is so hot. It has cooled down a little and now I have company coming so the cleaning bug has bitten me whether I want it to or not. Cleaned a re-organized the pantry yesterday. Working on the sewing/office/spare room today. Sounds like a large room housing three things but the sewing storage is mostly in the closet as it is the smallest bedroom I use for this purpose. My bedroom is next on the list.

Yes, the heat does play a big part in my energy! Fortunately we have air conditioning in our house, but to work outside in the heat is really hard, my garden def does not look like I want it too this year!
