I am asking for prayers for my late husbands son. He is in the hospital with very serious complications from alcoholism. His mother emailed me and told me no one else in her family were prayers and she appreciated the prayers. I remember when my husband, their father passed away, I briefly talked about their need for Jesus. His younger son is a believer, but the older, now very sick son does not. He needs more time here if only to see his need for a Saviour

Will defintely be praying for your stepson. Alcoholism is a terrible thing to battle.

Hi Jenne,
I will put your step son in my prayers for healing from the Alcohol complications and helping him to believe in Jesus and for his salvation.

talking to his mother and things are bad, but looking up.

I am praying first and foremost for your stepson's salvation (and his moms). I am also praying that it would be the Lord's will to completely heal him from alcoholism. Strength and comfort prayers for you!

Jenne~ Praying. I know what it is to have to deal with alcoholism and the consequences that can come from it. You are right about their need for Jesus. He is faithful and wants each of us to come to him. Will be praying to that end for these stepsons.

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement.
I have not heard anything for a few days, so I assume
there is no change. At least not for the worst.
If I do not hear anything I will email their mother in a few days.

Good News! I heard from his mother this morning and he is doing much better.
He is talking clearly and able to get up a little bit. They want
him to go to a nursing facility to rehab, but he does not want that.
we are hoping he agrees anyway.
Thank you for your prayers. I am trusting God for his continued healing
and spiritual healing too. Thank you for your prayers and your continued
prayers.
