I know it sounds silly, but I felt sad yesterday when I heard about Jane Wyatt passing away. She was 96 years old bless her heart. She was an actress playing a part but I loved her along w/ Harriet Nelson, Donna Reed and Barbara Billings??(Beaver mom).

Michele- Me too. I used to love watching Father Knows Best when I was a little girl. I thought that she was the best mom. They just don't make TV moms like that anymore. :(
What a great mom she was. The title should have been 'Mother Knows Best'. Ha! It's funny how we remember folks. I think we remember them staying as the last time we saw them. I was surprised to hear she was 96. Also she had a stroke about 11 years ago. Those are so terrible. My husband had a stroke 2 yrs, ago so here I am 24/7. It is so tragic. All those TV moms wore aprons so we are on the right theme.
Life may not be the party we hoped for...but while we are here we might as well dance!
