It's July 1st...Time to begin a whole lot of fun!!! So...here we go...On Our Countdown to Christmas!
This swap should really be lots of fun!!!
The swap will require at least 4 gifts for your partner. One for August...September...October...and November. The gifts do not have to be expensive but please make them something you would enjoy getting yourself.
Anything goes...Christmas Ornaments...any type of decoration...a pretty set of Christmas dishtowels...Christmas or Winter Theme candles...a beautiful Christmas music CD...or anything handmade is always special.
Rules are as follows...
Signups end Friday, July 26th.
Partners will be posted by Sunday July 28th.
Mail 1st package by August 26th.
Mail 2nd package by September 26th.
Mail 3rd package by October 26th.
Mail 4th and final package by November 26th.
Please make sure you can keep up with the entire swap if you sign up. We don't want any hurt feelings...especially as we are doing this in celebration of one of the most wonderful holidays of the year.
I hope all of my sweet farm girl friends enjoy this swap!!!

i have one question...are you putting any dollar max (top limit) on the monthly gifts? that might just keep someone from swapping?

I haven't put a monetary limit on the gifts. There are many beautiful inexpensive things that we can give. Also, anything handmade is greatly appreciated by most farm girls. Some girls would not do the swaps if limitations were put on the swap. I just let everyone give what they feel in their heart that they can give. I hope you will join us for the fun!!!

I have a question.... Are the gifts Christmas related meaning that they have to be Christmasy (not sure that is even a word) or can the gifts be anything? New to the forums and never have done a swap like this. Just only signed up for the Dotee Doll Swap.

Yes I would prefer the gifts be something that the farm girls can use to decorate with at Christmas. Many places are already putting some things out for Fall and Christmas. There are things online also. If you have anything that you can make with craft materials you already have...that would be nice also. If you have trouble finding something for your first gift...something like a candle would be great. They can be used all year round....and most ladies love them. If you have any further questions please let me know. Also, please let me know if you decide to sign up for the swap.
