Karen,

Are you permitted to give more information about your novel? What time period, characters, conflict? I am always looking for a good read, and I'm sure yours will be.

Hey Carol,

Thanks for your interest in my book. If you click onto my website, you can read an excerpt. It's a period piece --- mid-1800s --- based on an actual murder trial. The protagonist is a spoiled rich girl who dreams of marrying in order to have a home of her own, complete with servants. Other characters include household slaves, a free mulatto, a fortuneteller (whose character factored into the real trial), and a pirate turned sailor. Infidelity, jealously, and social status are common threads of conflict that fuel the story. Without giving away too much, I will say that syllabub and arsenic played a major part in the murder trial.

Karen,

The price on Amazon is $15.77. Are you getting your fair share? I want to buy a copy at the best price. Let me know.

Carol,

Don't worry about me getting my fair share. I just enjoy writing, and it's always rewarding whenever someone says they like my books. By all means, get the format that suits your taste. The electronic book is the least expensive, but some people can't stand to read that way. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with my Kindle! As far as the paperback goes, I think Amazon has a better price than Barnes & Noble.

E-book. Never thought of that. I'll take a paper copy any time.

Keep writing.
