Almost done with all of my fall goodies. So excited and can't wait for the cooler weather. It is so hot,with making all of the fall goodies I can think nice and cool.

I had another sweet farm girl from Texas tell me how hot it is there and how forward she looks to cooler weather. We have had a lot of hot and humid weather this past week...actually oppressive...I too look forward to the cooler weather.

Please add me to the swap. I love the fall season because it is cooler. Here in Texas it is hot & has been dry until we got a good rain this week. I was involved in a swap once before & really enjoyed it.

I am a newbie here and would love to join the swap. Can you give me some idea of what the farm girls might include in the décor? Door wreath, apron, candles?
I live in Las Vegas, NV so I can tell you about hot. Two weeks ago we had temps here at the house of 122!! All my plants outside are fried.. well not the trees or roses, but the flowers I got from my daughter for Mothers Day are history.
I love to quilt, knit, crochet, tat, make wine, jams, bread, etc, so when I went to my local quilt shop I saw a magazine that was new to me MaryJanes Farm. Now I'm all in as they say in Las Vegas. Love all you farm girls.

Jean,
I am sure you are totally ready for cooler weather. What you guys have been through has been totally unbearable I am sure. It sounds as if you are ready for a swap! So glad you decided to join this one...and welcome to the farm:):):)...as far as gifts for the swap...just make them anything you would enjoying receiving for yourself. It doesn't have to be expensive either...it's all about making new friends and staying in touch with the ones you have already made here at the farm...I know most farm girls like anything hand made but store bought is fine also. Just make the items are in staying with the theme of Fall.
