Hey Farmgirl Friends!
If your Faith...Family...Friends...and Freedom mean everything to you...as they do to me, this may be the swap for you.
First of all God means everything to me. Without Him I am nothing. I am so thankful that God has given me Faith to believe in Him.
My Family is the light of my life...especially my dear sweet husband and son.
Friends are wonderful gifts from God. One can never have too many of them.
I am a proud daughter of a World WarII Veteran. I am so thankful for the Freedom we have in this country. My father was so proud to have served his country. I have other family members who served time in the military as I am sure many of you have. I know that we still have service men and women who are protecting our country on foreign soil...but God has kept us under His wing of protection and always kept wars from being fought here in the USA. For that I am so greatful to God.

Signups end June 14th.
Partners will be posted by June 16th.
Packages are to be sent out by June 21st.
Please include 4 items in your package. One item representing Faith...Family...Friends...and Freedom.
Some ideas might include...
A key chain or pocket size Bible representing Faith.
A small photo album representing Family.
An angel or bookmarker representing Friends.
Anything red...white...and blue...representing Freedom.
These particular items do not have to be purchased as gifts. They are only ideas. I love to see how creative you all can be when doing swaps.
Include a card if you choose. More items may be sent if you choose...but only 4 are required.
Please make sure you meet the deadline to send out packages as we are doing this in celebration of Independence Day.

I'd love to participate, but I am very new to the whole Sisterhood and have never done a swap. Would you be willing to take a little time to e-mail me "off line", so to speak and clue me in on what I need to know? Regardless, count me in!
What a wonderful and thoughtful theme you've selected. I've been lurking around looking at all the swaps going on, but yours really got my attention and seems like perfect one with which to start.

My father was a WWII Veteran as well, He won a purple heart but I did not know that about him until He had passed away. I have a daughter who just got out of the Navy after 10 years and her husband is getting out this June. I am so proud of them.

Thanks for signing up for the swap. I know you must be very proud of your daughter and son-in-law. I carry an extreme amount of pride...being a daughter of a WWII Veteran. My father shared many stories of his time overseas in the Army...and was so proud to have served our wonderful country.

Our family is typical, small town, rural America. Our love for freedom runs deep. My grandfather was in a unit overseas before coming to America. My father was in WWII, I am a Vietnam Era Vet (WAC), my son was a marine, the other son was Army. Don't know how my daughter missed out, but she does work for our county government trying to help children and families.
We are proud of our Faith, Family, Freedom and love our Friends dearly. As so many of our Farm Sisters do ! What a wonderful idea for a swap!
