I received two really nice cards yesterday from Judith with a beautiful park scene and bridge to walk over, nice! I also received one from Jenne F. from Delaware, I was there when I was a kid and haven't been in a long time. I had family there and a now a friend in Maryland. I have never been to Iowa though. Thanks for the post cards they are great!

Oh Oh! Got a postcard today, this one from Debbie in Anchorage. Showing bears. Never been to Alaska but would love to go one of these days. It would have to bee with Farmsisters. Hubby does not like cold weather. lol Thank you Debbie!

I got an Alaskan Bear Postcard today from Debbie Main. Thanks Debbie that is the only way I like to look
at Bears...in picture form. LOL When I lived in Montana...we saw them like we see Deer here. Last week
there was a black bear roaming a neighborhood here in Vancouver...I am happy to say I just saw it on the
news. LOL

I am really enjoying all the great cards I have received. I have not forgotten about you all but I can't find any post cards where I live...so I am making them. Hang in there, they should be completed by next week and in the mail.

Hey, Debbie Main, your eagle postcard arrived today! That "eagle eye" is really intimidating! 73 degrees sounds awesome. Hard to believe it's been warmer there than here

Thanks to Jenne F. for her colorful "Ocean City" postcard (the boardwalk
looks like lots of fun!) and to Debbie for the Alaskan postcard of the
grizzly and black bears cooling off in the water. I sure would be giving them all the room they wanted...lol

Carisa, I love your postcard of Rabbit Hash General Store. I just put it on my list of places to visit when we travel that way! I'd probably be begging for a job there if I lived close..or volunteer!

I have really enjoyed all the memories the postcards have brought back. Places I have visited, states I have lived in and events that I had experienced along the way. Thanks Ceejay for hosting this swap. It is like a vacation around the US right from the comforts of the living room. Once I received all the postcards I am going to do a album. Becky

Well, I'm home, as of last evening! Boy do I have to regroup, reorganize and get back in the groove. I've briefly looked at the postcards I've received, but need to take more time to savor them. I'm up to my eyeballs in glamping gear and unpacking, putting away and cleaning out the rental van so I can return it tomorrow morning.
I'll be getting my cards done and out before too long!
REMINDER: MAIL OUT DATE IS AUGUST 20th. Still have plenty of time!

I got two post cards one yesterday and one today. Yesterday I got one from Debbie M from Alaska with bears on the front. There are a lot of bears up there. We have some her sometimes and I haven't seen one here but that is ok because I don't want to see one that close. They are pretty though.
I got another one from Carissa it is really black and white of an old general store. They are both great!

Ladies, I'm glad my cards are arriving and you like them. I missed the bears in our neighborhood 2 summers ago,
and I'm very grateful there have not been any bears eating lunch on my porch, or hanging out in the driveway by
my car! I would rather see them at a distance! CJ, mountain lions are just as scary and dangerous aren't they?
I'm loving all the postcards that have come in, thank you all!
