I went on such a great ride on my horse yesterday evening - and I took my camera along so you could join me! Take a deep lungful of that wonderful Spring air, pop on your cowboy hat, and let's go for a quick lope down a country road in North Idaho.

Farmgirl Bliss for sure!! It does not get more beautiful than a late afternoon ride along a winding country road in the greening Spring of one of our most beautiful and rugged northern states!

Oh my goodness, Kellie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your pictures are beautiful!!!!!!!!! I especially love the shadow pictures; made me smile. And the picture of the old barn; what memories just seeing it brought back to me. The pictures of Brownie's eye, breath-taking to me. I love the way you put your words together; "Spring is careening into view,....". More pictures, please. Thanks for sharing your part of the world with us.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride! I enjoyed so sharing the experience. It was neat to imagine the sights, sounds and smells all add up to feeling of peace. I've only ridden once in recent years but it was so much a part of growing up. Just a funny note, I am sending this on a little notebook. Usually I have the sound turned off, but it was on and I am hearing a clip clop sound as I type reminding me of hoofbeats.

Thanks so much for your comments, everyone! I loved it!
Marly - Thanks so much for saying that. And CJ - That's so much fun! What great memories.
Looking great, Terri and Tanner!! Chestnuts are my very favorite, as my own two horses were that color. <3

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
