I am soooooooo happy! I just got a job at a huge bakery that sells produce, meats, gourmet stuff but they are 3/4 bakery. There called Delicious Orchards in monmouth county. The hours are long, the pay stinks and I've never been happier. It may be temp. until after the Christmas rush but she told me today it a good possibility I'll stay. There is so much to learn & its so much fun. Some people think Im crazy quitting a job w/ that made me a very good wage for this job that couldn't support just myself w/ renting only a room. I wake up in the morning happy looking forward to going to work. That is worth more to me then the money. I just wanted to share this w/ you.

That sounds wonderful for you. Sometimes it's not about the money. You have to do whats right for you. I am very happy for you. Congrats! My grandmother worked in a bakery in New York my whole life. She actually did it til she passed away at 83. She loved it, and so did all of us grandkids. MMMM...! I love breads and baked goods! lilpunkin |

And if you are happy, success of some kind, monetary or not, will follow! In fact, being happy in your job is success. Good luck! :)

Congrats, Michelle,
For having the guts to do something that makes you happy and not worrying about pay, etc. Sounds wonderful.
