My new bike! Turned me into a kid in about....2 minutes of wheeling it down the street from the old guy I bought it from.
For our new grill! I am planning to make dinner tonight and cannot wait to spend the evening with my little family--I am counting on this grill to boost my creativity and make meals I've been too gunshy to try. Tonight, it's simple, though--Filet mignon with herb butter, grilled asparagus and baked potatoes.
For dear friends who go the extra mile and who are so talented that they can fix ANYTHING, including a lap top screen that a giant dog busted last year just by hopping up on the couch.

I appreciate reading about everyone's blessings. Thank you Farmgirls!
Mine for the day:
1) Great is His faithfulness! 2) My honey presenting me with a bouquet of wild asparagus picked from the ditch :) 3) The sun shining

Oh so many blessings, How can I pick three??
My first blessing is the forgiveness of sin...Where would I be without that? My second blessing would be my precious children and grandchildren. My life is enriched by their lives every day and the Lord has blessed me by being their mother. Knowing that hard work and honest living will always keep you at peace.
Smiles and hugs, Beth

My three blessings for today are: 1. The closeness I have with my daughter. 2. A loving husband who calms my fears from the nightmares I have been having lately. 3. Gods gifts to us, like knowledge and protection.
May the stars carry your sadness away. May the flowers fill your heart with beauty, and may hope forever wipe away your tears. Becky #4932 |

Good Lovely Friday Morning to all of my sisters
1.) Today I'm very blessed with an enthusiastic, brave and creative gentleman husband and partner in mischief and adventure named Drew, who excitedly decided that we are going to go into the heirloom and organic seed business and nursery after falling in love with the house full of budding seedlings. We are both on the same page with our attitudes about GMO's and biodiversity, the importance of saving bees and heirloom plants from extinction. While I'm planning on raising a few mini jerseys and chickens, Drew wants to start a nursery with me. I love this guy to pieces!
2.) I'm blessed with learning to love the place that I now live and see it's beauty even thought it's vastly different than where I wanted to live and love. The statement "grow where you're planted" has opened my eyes to the various blessings of where I live and given my possibilities that I didn't realize that had.
3.) Many beautiful nephews and nieces, grand nieces and nephews to love. They're all such awesome little beans! Even Caden who's a terrible little stink [;p]
Be happy and enjoy your life this weekend!!

Annika, how exciting! I love being on the same page with my honey :) And you are a girl after my own heart with the mini-jerseys and chickens. Some day perhaps, Large Black Hogs are on my honey's list first.
Mine for the day :)
1) God's grace 2) A beautiful sunny day and a nice cup of Hibiscus Tea to go with 3) Alone at the house :) I can catch up now

1) All the birds out there this morning - it's so cheerful! 2) My hubby is home today! The first Saturday in for-e-ver! 3) St. Emma's Monastery - it's a beautiful, peaceful, contemplative place. Lovely shrine, beautiful grounds to walk and pray. Just can't get enough of places like that!

So many blessings to choose from, Living and enjoying the things God gives us in nature, in our homes and the people we love. I am grateful to know that God was, is and always will be. Grateful for a dear husband who listens and loves me even with all my faults and quirks.

Wow!!
I'm taking over the thread! 1.) Quiet time early mornings 2.) Challenges in life to help me grow as an individual 3.) My dad and I being history loving bookworms together. Our love of reading has always been a close bond between us. He taught me to read at 3 and instilled in me a questioning mind and an eagerness to learn from a very early age. I recall being a toddler sitting on his lap as he taught me to read the Sunday comics with him. Thank you daddy

I am most thankful today for my sweet hubby who works so hard, for a friend who bowed her head to pray for us, and for free boiled crawfish. Oh they were so good. Marly
