Here are the partners for the April Dotee Doll Swap:
darlenelovesart - buzzn bee
annielaurel - brightmeadow
1. Sign ups start now and end April 10th.
2. You must email your partner and exchange names & addresses by April 14th. Mail out deadline is April 31st.
3.Body of doll should be 3”-5” (not counting the loop on top of head or beads hanging below).
4. Doll can be made from, and decorated with, any materials. (fabric, felt, beads, etc)
5. If you need ideas, do a google images search or see tutorials on youtube.

I am happy to hear we are dotee doll swap partners for April. I have two ideas for her but haven't decided for sure which one yet. I will let you know soon. I also will have a surprise coming for the call all troops one.
I know you are busy with Poochy and I tried to email you but it wouldn't let me do it through your name so here I am on side of things.

I got your Sweet Dotee in the mail today. She is just adorable, and the fabric wrapper is very nice, I will use it in my next project! What a nice idea!
I will try and post a picture late, but wanted to let you know that she arrived and will take her place with the others!

Hi Darlene,
Your little doll baby was born at 8:45 PM this evening. She is very excited to come and meet her new family. She will also be bringing her favorite little pet with her. I would tell you her name, but the name will give her identity away. But here is a little sneak peek for you. Really, you didn't think I would show her.(Or did you?) LOL! I will be headed to the post office on Friday or Saturday. No big hurry. Take your time. I have a lot of catching up to do. Big Buzz and I are doing okay. We still cannot believe our beloved Poochie is still with us. We are grateful for every moment we have with her. We know her time with us is almost over. She sleeps more than she is awake, and she is starting to not want to eat. Please pray.
I will be okay, it is my wonderful hubby "Big Buzz" that I am most worried about. We promised each other we would have a date night tomorrow (Thursday). We are going to start by Big Buzz opening some packages as well as myself. So gear up for some long overdue thanks and pictures. All of you farm sisters have been so sweet and understanding. We love each one of you dearly.

Well I have to say it is a beauty, I can tell by the crystal beads hanging there. Thank you so much.
I hope you like your dotee of which I have to put her hair on and a hat and she will be done. I will then name her. She will also come with a companion as well. I would show you but my computer is not working with pictures right now, maybe once I get my lap top going, I will be able to do pictures once again.

Ruby ... have not forgotten you !
Hubby and I have been camping in South Texas, sort of rural, and not able to get to a post office this past week. Soo.. I am very slow in sending 4 swaps off this month. I really did not expect it to be so difficult to accomplish this.
Please accept my apology and I will be mailing your Dotee off real soon (in the next day or two). I brought sewing stuff with me, and found that I was missing some things to finish him (yes, it is a Dotee boy).
So we just got back into town this afternoon and have been unpacking the trailer and trying to appease MR. CAT -- who has had his own cat masseuse while we were gone to feed and love on him.. but it's just not the same as Cat Mom. So massive cat petting has been going on--

Dotee is leaving on a Jet Plane in the morning (I hope)... and I know all your other Dotee's will welcome him. Just a few finishing touches tonight and I will buy his plane ticket for him.
