I just joined the sisterhood earlier this week, and would really like to get a hold of someone in my local chapter to figure out whats going on. I tried contacting the leader from the page of chapters for my state over a week ago, but haven't heard anyone. I understand people are busy, and don't want to rush anyone, but I'd really like to get my feet wet!
The chapter I'm interested in joining is the Georgetown Indiana chapter.

Elizabeth, do you know if that chapter is accepting new members? And perhaps that chapter leader is no longer active on the forum. I think you can click on their name and see their most recent activity. That might be a start.

Hm, i tried to do that and now cannot remember.
How about changing your topic heading to "Georgetown Indiana Chapter?"
Then make sure you subscribe to the topic and "bump" it once a day so that it stays "live"
