I have a New Home treadle and it has a lifting cable. When you open the top it activates and pulls the machine up and the tension keeps the machine up to enable you to sew. This has broken in a previous lifetime and I need to know 1. how long it was and 2. what did it hook to and 3. where/how did it hook?
