I have alot of corks and am always looking to repurpose so I thought I'd share with you all some ways to do that heres acouple of great ideas for reusing corks 1.Floor Savers: Slice the cork into small disks and attach to the bottom of furniture, chairs, and other items that could scratch the floor. (This technique is also good on cupboard doors to prevent them from slamming). 2.Keep wine corks in rubbing alcohol in a sealed jar (stored away from the fireplace of course). Just before lighting a fire, toss a few in under the kindling. 3.Garden Mulch: Grind your corks up in a food processor and add to your garden bed. The cork will retain moisture and mulch your garden effectively. 4.Make a cork trivet. Buy a picture frame and glue the corks to it. blessings deborah I'm sure there are many more but this is just a few. any other ideas would be welcomed.. FYI I don't drink that much..LOL. There are oodles of ideas for corks and I have oodles of corks . . . I just don't have time to pursue anything creative with them . . yet! Maybe sometime! CJ

If they are all the same kind or at least all the same length, glue them side by side to something like a sheet of Masonite or heavy cardboard and there's your bulletin board. Also good knitting needle and other sharp tool tips, like exactly knives you wind up storing with pencils-- ouch!
I love these tips! I have a huge jar of corks waiting to be used for something. I saw someone poke holes in the top of the cork and put a succulent inside. They hot glued a magnet to the back of it and hung it on their fridge. Make your kitchen nice and green. :) Jaimeyleigh
I made some coasters out of corks. They turned out cute. I also seen a pattern for a boot rug made out of corks cut in half. I haven't tried that yet but it sure was pretty.
