http://antbpottery.blogspot.com/2012/04/mini-greenhouse-or-hot-box.html

I made one of these last spring for my seedlings, and it worked very well. When it got cold this fall, I put the hot box over some of my greens and have been able to keep picking them, though they are getting pretty tough now.

For those of us that need extra warmth and protection in the spring, I thought this might be timely.

Cute idea! I saw something similar once, but it was a walk in greenhouse made of old windows...this would be much more doable for me though :)

Thanks for sharing!

Antonia! I LOVE IT!!! My hubby is going to be shakin' his head when he comes home... He's got a whole bunch of recovered windows out there in the garage... I've been telling him I'd find a way to make a greenhouse out of them! LOL! Now I have!!! YAY!!! Thank you SO much! Hugs - Nini

I'm so glad you liked it!
I have a stash behind the garage of storm doors. I really want to make a lean-to green house that can be walked into on the side of the house. My very kind husband doesn't roll his eyes too much when I draw out the plans.

Antonia, Your mini green house is great! and seems easy to do. Last year I tried to explain to my hubby the same thing but he didn't get it, Your pictures are great. so maybe this year I'll get my mini green house. We even have a re-consruction store right down the street!

I'm going to show my hubby. We were talking about how to make a mini greenhouse. I want to start all my seeds. I want only heirloom/non-gmo seeds. I want to be able to get plants big to get a jump on the planting season. Thanks for the pics!!

Antonia, I like your mini - greenhouse! I was thinking of adding one onto the side of my "plastic" greenhouse. We cant have too many places to grow!! Thanks for the idea.

Keep your hands dirty!
