Does anyone know anything about how to date feedsack fabric This fabric was given to me over 18 years ago by a woman who was in her 70's at the time. She said it was what her mother who was still alive in her 90's use to make her dresses out of.
Any help would be great. Thanks!

Teri,
You might be able to do some google search and get some info.

My mom made clothes for my sisters and me back in the 50s from flour sacks.

I LOVE FEEDSACK and FLOUR SACK fabric!!!!
Sorry I'm not much more help!

I did do that... not much I could find on these, I was able to see some fabric that had the same coloring ... or same colors, just different patterns.

I've made aprons to sell and they are "HOT" Items. If you go to my "CJs Creations" blogspot . . and you might have to go into older posts, you'll see some of them. I used FEEDSACK fabric because that's what I had.

I've had customers come looking specifically for those because they knew I had them. I made myself one just this past fall. I had gotten just one feedsack (cream with red weather vanes on it) that I said "this one's mine" and put it back . . finally was able to make an apron for me.
