To all those praying farmgirls, please include my sister and her two sons in your prayers tonight. She is a single mom with two sons ages 17 and 14 and their life has not been easy.. there is a whole lot of drama there and always has been. She has not made the best decisions herself, and they are at the age now to where their past has kind of shaped their path and their decisions are becoming just as bad. The 14 year old has been arrested recently for problems at school, and tonight the 17 year old was taken to jail because the two of them got into a severe domestic dispute to the point where she had to call the police for help. He is being released but I am so afraid of what may happen. My husband refuses to get involved in any way and I am helpless to do anything at this point. All I can do is sit here and pray and beg God to put his hand in it and protect them all. Any extra prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Colina: I will be praying for your sister and her sons. Keep us posted. Prayers to you, also.

So sad--when children and their mother really need each other, instead going in the opposite direction. Teens are always a little "iffy" but this makes me sad for everyone. Your sis and those boys will be in my thoughts for sure.

My prayers for your sister and her two sons and that they will realize that the way they are going really isn't what they want. Prayers for you too!
God is watching over you all.

This sounds all too much like my aunt and her son. Not a situation that anyone wants to arch their loved ones go through. I am sorry this is happening.

Mighty Father, we pray that You will encounter these young men in a way that only You can. They need a "father" so badly to fill that lack in their lives. I pray that You will make Your presence known somehow in this situations before these boys get lost and end up doing something with serious repercussions. I pray that You would bring peace to their mother and show her how she can discipline and instruct her children in love without a father figure in the picture. Give her supernatural strength to love her boys even when it sometimes has to be tough love. I just pray that You would become the glue that sticks this family back together before it completely falls apart. God, we know that You ARE strong enough. In Jesus' name we pray together...AMEN.

I will be keeping your sister and her family in my prayers. And also for peace for your own heart as you watch this all play out.

Praying for your sister and her two young boys Colina. Also praying for peace for you, as you watch on the sidelines. It must be very difficult for you.
God is good and he will guide them and help them.
Peace be with you,

Thank so much everyone.. I appreciate the prayers. For now things seem to have calmed down a bit. I did get a call from my oldest nephew today and heard his side of the story.. it is all just a big mess but I know there is power in prayer for sure and will keep giving it to God! For now I suppose we will just have to take things one day at a time... will keep you all updated.
