So in looking for a farm (and failing for now) we've also been thinking about names. We came up with a few and would like your opinions. So, what is your favorite? Keep in mind that we haven't found this mythical farm and we've been on an emotional roller coaster as we've thought we've had it a couple of times. 
Roller Coaster Acre
Addled Acres
The Finally Farm
Annoyed Place
Up and Down Ranch
Up the Wall Estate
Perspiration Patch
Oy Vey Orchards
Flummoxed Farmstead
Anxiety Gardens
Had It Homestead
Migraine Meadows
The Pooped Plantation
To top it off we'd like to be able to eventually market products from this eventual farm.

I always say never put the cart before the horse ... meaning, let you farm (when you get it) help in the naming. Good luck with your search tho.

We plan on making the true decisions regarding naming after we actually get the farm. Right now though we are trying not to go crazy waiting so we're brainstorming. We got a kick out of some of these and thought we'd have a little fun toying with names. Who knows what will fit that eventual farm? Most of these particular names just reflect our frustrations with finding a farm. :)

I like Oy Vey Orchard, but I really like Oy Vey Place.

I would not use most of them, as they kind of give a negative feeling, even though you were thinking of your frustrations on buying a farm, but if you plan on selling things from there, I would make the name more cheerful and informative as to what you farm.

I agree with Janet. If you are going to sell to the public, think positive. One of the cutest I ever saw was Hackamore Hollow. It was a little cottage on a small corner lot in town, but was decorated in lots of farm and ranch junk, with a pretty patio and a vegetable garden. So keep thinking.

Prairie Products
Just a bit more positive and leaning more toward the fiber I work with. Although I want it open ended enough that we could some day add orchard/garden products to the line. :)

We too have been close to having our dream more than once,only to have it be pulled out from under us.We again are soooo close and praying that this time we will finally be able in a few weeks to say it is ours. It seems to me that once you get your farm and get a feel of the land the name will fall right in place. Of course in the mean time it is fun thinking of names. Our place is called Strawberry Hill because years ago all the land around here was strawberry fields and we live high on a hill. I would have never picked that. Our previous place I named Hobby Horse Farms because we seems to be raising both kids and ponies although neither is a hobby the name just fit. Progress took that place but we lived there 30+ years.

For each place we have lived house wise, we have had a different name for it. It depends on the farm, where, and lots to do with your names, your interests, your family's. My favorite was Moon Flower Lodge.
