Looking for suggestions or ideas on what to make as small swaps or gifties when traveling and visiting. Something like the pin swapping done at the Olympics when you swap pins with people from other countries. I thought it would be a cute idea to have something on hand as a remembrance to give. Easy to make, not too expensive and travels well and stores in a small space.

Ideas??

Shrinky dink charms.

Small cloth bags with pretty ribbon to tie closed.

Papercraft tags you can make.

The charms would be cool. Perhaps put something from Colorado on it.....Columbine? Flag? hmmmmmm... will have to think about that one.

CJ have you used the printable shrinky dink paper before?

Clear #6 recycle plastic is the same thing as shrinky dink. I tried it with a small piece it had and it worked well. Here's a site that has some ideas and instructions for time and temp for baking.http://www.skiptomylou.org/2009/01/07/how-to-make-shrinky-dinks-with-recycled-6-plastic/

Have fun!
