Grace, I got my apron today and I love it!! It has cats and bird houses and is orange to compliment my reddish brown hair. It is very roomy and I can actually wrap the apron ties around my size 18W body and tie them in the front!! Thanks again. Terri |

Thanks Grace but I love it and want to keep it. I have already been out in the garden in it. It protected my clothes perfectly. Thank you again, Terri

Grace- I love my new purple apron for spring! thank-you so much and I know I will enjoy wearing it. In my payment message from Dave, he mentioned that you were open to some new ideas from your customers. What about a few fabrics that are more along the lines of the settlers on the prairie in the 1850s-1900? More colors in say indigo blue, mustard, dark greens, burgundy and instead of printed patterns, maybe stripes or checks? Sort of give that primitive look? I was thinking it might be fun for customers like me that would enjoy a more traditional early American look before the prints and bright colors of 1900s onward started to offer. Anyway, just throwing that out there for what it might be worth. Your Grandma's pattern is that pinafore pattern which would fit perfectly with a more primitive prairie look.
Thanks again!

Good morning Winnie, I am so glad you said something about the style & colors of the 1850 - 1900...I agree with you. We started a new page a couple months ago...for more simple colors of the more traditional aprons...but did not name them prairie or pioneer aprons...I want to make some out of muslin also. We have some in Indigo blue, dk green & mustard now. I also changed the page name to Pioneer Aprons price is $20 kind of Plan Janes :) Thank you for sending this in...I always enjoy hear from my Farmgirls Hugs, Grace

Hi Grace, I am looking forward to seeing your new aprons with the Pioneer theme. Muslin sounds like a very good idea too. Your current plain fabric aprons are a great idea to add embroidery or to personalize in some way. Diversity is always helpful in reaching out to new markets as there is so much competition out there in the apron market these days!
