"The Dogs of Bedlam Farm" was written by Jon Katz, who is also the author of "The New Work of Dogs" and "A Dog Year". I have checked "Bedlam Farm" out twice from the library where I work and then taken it back because I ran out of time. The security officer here at the libary is a real dog lover, and she has read it. She keeps insisting that I read it. Perhaps I will take it home again today and add it to my tall stack of "must reads" at home. Working in a library for me is like having a "sweet tooth" and working in a candy store.

If any of you have questions about books, libraries etc, never hesitate to email me--conniekallenberg@msn.com.

This is such a great book-- I'm addicted to farming books right now, and am reading this book along with a few others. It is so wonderful the way he explores human nature and emotions through people's relationships with dogs-- my fiance is SO excited about having our own flock and collies one day-- i think he read it in two days.
