I am a 69 yr old retired Sp. Edu. Teacher and I have a 66 yr. old friend. We are desperately needing yarn for our charity work. We are both disabled and cannot do alot, but we can knit and crochet for charity. We have made over 2000+ items for charity in the past 3 years. However, we are now out of yarn and must cease our work or receive more yarn. We work thru the Knitwitters at the Hillsboro Church of Christ who collects our work and then it is distributed to hospitals and charity organizations.

We do helmet liners, hats, and laprobes for soldiers. We also do chemo hats, baby items, items for the homeless and for nursing homes.

I have pictures on my fb page and I am going to try to upload one here showing our work.

I cannot volunteer to do some things; however, I live in the middle of a 155 acre farm and have lots of time to knit and crochet.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You and your friend are certainly generous farmgirls. What a wonderful way that you are reaching out to others with your heart.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."
