OMG! look what I found at the Thrift today...
It took me a bit to figure out what the two little Chinamen's braid was spelling out,,, "Clothes Pins"...
I am guessing this might be from the 1960's, maybe earilier....

Adorable Grace! I have found many aprons at the thrift store. There is just something so special about vintage aprons! I found 3 half aprons about a week ago at my local thrift store. Score!

Ohhhhh . . . wonderful! And, you know for this "apronista" I'm just plain envious!
I find a cool apron occasionally at the local thrifts, which is always fun!
Anyway, lucky you!

here is the other one I bought,,, simple little seesucker fabric, with a finger tip towel used to embellish the apron...

I think I might wear this one tomorrow while preping dinner...

I hand washed it and then rinsed it in lavender water...hung it until it was almost dry, then tossed it in the dryer... oh, I just want to sunngle with it...
I always wash my apron finds this way and then iron them...but since this is seesucker fabric,,, don't need to iron it...
I am surprised I don't find many seesucker aprons,, they are so much easier to maintain...no ironing! lol! Yep! I am 'that lazy housewife'...lol!

How cute are those!!!! It's so much fun coming across such great finds like these. But I keep very few of the ones I find - I give them away to my friends to enjoy as much as I had finding them. I just love to share.
