Hi connie, I got a singer fashion mate 362 recently from a garage sale and they did not even ask for any money cause they said it was not working right. Well when I got it home, I was looking it over and basically it has seized up. So, I was wondering if there are any parts you might like from it. I thought maybe if some one was looking for a particular part or something. Let me know.

Is it possible to find new cords for an older machine? The cords on the one I have from my mom are cracked and showing wires. Don't want to use it that way.

They are on a Singer, I think it's a 99 model.

Denise The machine would have to be rewired using SPT2 16 gauge wiring, you can buy it by the foot from this seller:
https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/16-gauge-sewing-machine-wire-per-foot.aspx

you can also buy an extension cord from a hardware store and just cut it down, and it will have the plug end. just make sure its 16 gauge

Hope this helps

Hi everyone!

I've been wanting to update you all for a while now. My sewing machine parts website got a complete makeover recently. About two years ago I added Flashcard sets for vintage sewing machine models. It was just an idea that came to me one day. They are basically an excellent alternative when you don't have the user manual.

I also have some beautiful sewing machines for sale, aromatherapy eye pillows, books, and a lot of parts.

Check out the new website (same name, different look, 100% improvement and we now take coupon codes!)

Thanks for checking on the model for me. the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society, confused me.
I know I can always ask you for help with ID an old machine.
Thanks again. now I know it's a Model 66-1 Red eye

You can rewire the foot pedal/sewing machine cord - whichever piece is frayed or not working.

Hi everyone! Its been a while. We've finally settled into our new home. I have an important update. As of today my entire inventory of original sewing machine parts was sold. I will no longer be selling sewing machine parts, but I will still have my books and flashcards on my website. If anyone needs a part I can put you in touch with the new owner.
