Pocket is all finished. I just need to get my recipes together and hopefully I will get it in the mail by Monday morning.

Julie.. just beginning the creating phase. Hope to work on the pocket tomorrow.
Today includes: Weight Watchers, grocery store, friends "31" party, GSons district (for 10 year olds) football game at 5 and announcement of the Middle School cheerleader contests. EGADS... I better get going. It's already 5 AM !!! (Oh and Dr apptmt Monday for me and Cataract surgery for DH Tuesday). And I keep saying I am bored and do nothing. Hmmm
Well, better get the other 3 swaps done as they are all due EOM too !

Beth, I think you might want to open it now because there might be some Thanksgiving goodies inside...in fact I know there are!!!!!! Don't want you to have to wait until next year! We are about 2 and 1/2 hours north of Monterey. I love Monterey and Carmel....such beautiful places...just thinking about them makes me want to visit!

Dear Tammy, Thank you for the adorable jean pocket...You and I had a lot of the same ideas....I love the upholstry binding that you used. I have some of that in my closet to use!! The little Rudolph pin is just so precious I love him as well as the handkerchief and vintage postcards...Wow!! You know just what i like!! I love the little gingerbread buttons and the little tree cookie cutter. Thank you for the lovely swap and sweet memories you gave me. Beth sent me the cutest jean pocket ever!!! It is beautifully embellished and has the cutest gingerbread treasures. I will post a picture when I get home on Sunday. Her recipes are awesome too. I love my vintage hankie, cocoa, tea towel and napkins...everything was just perfect and wonderful! What a great swap. Thank you sweet Beth.

I am fast approaching done on your jean pocket. Well, almost. I imagine there will be time to work on it during Thanksgiving weekend. (no money for the big Black Friday sales this year, so look at ALL $$ I save by staying home and being productive !!! LOL )

I wish you were here so I could HUG YOU! Oh my goodness!!!!
Hubby and I have been gone for a few days visiting some of
his relatives. Imagine my surprise when I came home and there
was your package sitting on my craft table. My neighbor did
not mention your package when I called to check on our home.
He said when he saw the words Farmgirl Mail, he thought I might
enjoy the surprise. Now that is sweet!
I just cannot stop looking at my beautiful, creative, thoughtful,
heartfelt, pocket. I have to say, I am in aw of your creative
talents. I cannot wait to post pics. I will try to do that tomorrow.
I love all of the extra goodies. Of course I have to hide the candy
from "Big Buzz" my dh. He loved the pocket as well. His first words
when I showed him were "Wow! that is beautiful" "Did she send me
some candy?" LOL! I cannot wait for our farmgirl sisters to see it,
they are going to love it as much as I do. It looks like an apron.
It is just so blasted cuteeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the apron! I cannot wait to wear it Christmas Day! It is
gorgeous!!!! Maybe I will just sit around on Christmas Day looking
cute. LOL!
