make cinnamon pinecones.

I looked online and not finding anything which works very well. I tried making cinnamon 'tea' and putting the p/c's in that and boiling, didn't work well and not a good smell. Rolling in glue and then ground cinnamon, well, once dry the glue/cinnamon will come off.

Anyone have a good trick to this??

Usually the ones that you get at the store have been soaked in Cinnamon oil or a cinnamon scented oil. I would get some from the health food store and spritz the cones with it until you are happy with the smell! :)

The only time I've had cinnamon pinecones whose scent has lasted is when they have been dipped in deeply scented cinnamon wax... I hope that helps! - Nini
