I looked online and not finding anything which works very well. I tried making cinnamon 'tea' and putting the p/c's in that and boiling, didn't work well and not a good smell. Rolling in glue and then ground cinnamon, well, once dry the glue/cinnamon will come off.
I dont have the answer- but sure cant wait to see who does. What fun this would be to try! I'll be watching this thread! Thanks for posting this question! Im sure there's a farmgirl out there with the know how! Hugs,

Usually the ones that you get at the store have been soaked in Cinnamon oil or a cinnamon scented oil. I would get some from the health food store and spritz the cones with it until you are happy with the smell! :)
The only time I've had cinnamon pinecones whose scent has lasted is when they have been dipped in deeply scented cinnamon wax... I hope that helps! - Nini
