Hello everyone! I'm a 4-H and FFA alumni and have raised beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, and poultry and exhibited them at our local county fair. Currently I'm attending community college. I plan to transfer to Michigan State to study Agriculture Education and Agriculture Business Management, and hopefully get my MRS degree.

I still have a few Checkered Giant rabbits, Bourbon and Royal Palm turkeys, and an assorted flock of hens. Besides playing with the critters, I enjoy drawing, hiking, and going fishing. I work at the local library and help my mother manage our farm market booth.

Please check out my blog - The Domestication of Cattle Cait. It's still in progress, so I apologize.

And this is my dog Gus.

Hi Ladies,
I wanted to introduce myself but it is also a re intro. since I was a member a few years ago but haven't been on the forums in a couple of years. Life got crazy and I needed a new start.
I living in Farmington Hills, MI at the moment and am in the process of buying a little farmhouse in Fowlerville... Just waiting on the inspection and keeping my fingers crossed.
I'm a single mom of 5 kids. Jack of all trades, master of none! I look forward to getting to know my farm girl sisters on here and re connecting with ones that I got to know a little in the past!

Best of luck, Nicola... from a fellow Michiganian! I'm in north Oakland County, so maybe 60-90 minutes from Fowlerville. Look forward to hearing about your progress with the new property! :)
