Scary and sad. I don't give my pets those treats anymore. Thanks for sharing the site. Marly

From the onset, I have avoided giving my pets all treats and foods not made or exported here in the U S. For whatever reason, it's just not worth the risk.
This stuff is garbage and not worth compromizing my pet's health. Neither is bottom of the barrel dog food either.

My vet friend gave me a different brand at Christmas, that has also been in the news as making dogs sick. I threw them away. Bonnie ate one but didn't get sick, and when I phoned the company to inquire about it, they were very nonchalant and said while some dogs got sick not all do, and they stand by it being safe for dog not human consumption. My pup is on American made organic food and snacks. :)Easier now that I only have one dog. Years ago I had my doberman and my jack russell (now both gone) get sick from the melamine in dog food. Remember that in the news? Now our local news keeps saying that there is a piece coming on tonight about an ingredient in dog shampoo making dogs sick. Honestly we all have to really watch what we use in everything!
