Looking for ideas for homemade gifts. I've done it all. Last year was my favorite I made chapstick, soap wrapped in crochet washrag, jams and butters. This year I'm going to make crochet produce bags, wooden spoons and scoops (in this months martha stewart, I have to have one). I'm really looking for ideas for the very manly men in my life.

BBQ aprons with homemade salsa or BQ sauce. Manly soaps.

Do what you love, love what you do.

I wish I could sew & crochet, then my gifts would be complete. I do can & bake...so usually at Christmas I throw together a basket with some of my garden goods that I canned;tomato soup, salsa, jalpeno's & sometimes apple butter or apple pie filling & some new recipes...it's usually a gift to be fought over. I am wanting to learn to sew this winter & hopefully crotchet so that next year the gift ideas are endless. It's a goal!

Angie, if you could share you BBQ sauce recipe that would be great! That is something I have never canned & would like to add it to my pantry. It's funny...my mom only canned the basic green beans, tomato juice & it seems like that is the least amount in my pantry. I do very little green beans & juice & the rest is the good stuff.

For my hubby I crocheted a hat and scarf last year. This year I am looking at other things like this:
