Hi! The description of this forum included something about "what drew you to us" - I want to say that all the pretty pictures and sisterhood stuff is what got me the first time, but what brought me back was MaryJane's small business/small farm/entrepreneurial ideas. I'd like to see a farmgirl business book (maybe I'll just head over to the "books" section and see if it's already there!)

Blessings,
Melissa

I never meant to stay away so long...I just got busy with life and next thing I knew it had been a couple of years since I posted last. Its good to be back.

I like many come and go. Life gets busy and in the Farm girl nature duty calls. I may be back for a few days or weeks but even when I am not here Mary Jane Farm is always in my heart.

Great idea Melissa. Coming back is taking time to reconfirm the importance of being a "farmgirl at heart".

Life carried me away too. This past spring, with the kids grown and gone and an ache in my heart I decided my sewing machine's 5 year silence must be remedied! I start quilting again and fell back in love. Head.Over.Heals. So consequently dear son's bedroom was painted yellow and answers to momma's sewing room! As I was moving supplies from the corner of the family room to MSR, I came across MaryJane's books, magazines and two scrapbooks full of letters cards and mementos from farm girl friends. I realized I missed my farm girl sisters and needed to get back!
