There is more on my blog (Pioneer Woman At Heart). We were finally able to borrow the camper, and not too late either. College started today, and public school tomorrow.
I hope y'all had a nice time. Nice camper. I love that white cover. Marly
"It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had." Elisabeth Kurler-Ross
So glad you finally were able to get out and camp, I know you have been wanting to do that all summer, and just in the knick of time before school started!!!! Good for you!!!!
On the first night out, hubby looked back over at the camper and said, "honey that doesn't look very glampy."
Ha ha ha! We were both so tired, we really only cared about getting a break from everything. So, the next morning I put up that valance on the camper, a small table cover (recycled from a pillow sham), a table cloth and a flowered rug. People walking past it, loved the valance.
We really did have a good time. The girls want to go fishing again too.
I'm lucky that hubby would borrow the camper. It's been borrowed so many times that things keep breaking and we have to fix them. We do have a few things to fix, but it's been all good. Now, he's wanting to have one for ourselves by next year.
Then we can keep most of our supplies inside the camper and not have to store them in the garage and haul them each time. Like the dish pans etc. We heat the water over the fire in pans and wash in tubs at the camp site. It would be nice to have everything we needed inside the camper already.
I posted a few funny stories on my blog. I would repeat them here, but I haven't been in my garden since Friday night. Yikes! I'm sure I'll be busy today.
